Peach Bottom Unit 3 - Inservice Inspections RE:
Technical Specifications 6.9.3.b, 4.6.G, and Table 4.6.1
Dear Dr. Murley:
In accordance with the referenced Technical Specifications, Inservice Inspections were completed on Unit 3 during the February 12 to October 24, 1983 Refueling Outage.
Enclosed are three copies of the Inservice Inspection Report which summarizes the examinations performed.
Several indications were identified as a result of these examinations and their resolutions are contained in Attachment 2 of the report, " Summary of Indications."
The ISI examination report has been reviewed by the PORC, the PECO Senior Engineer-Nuclear Branch, and the Hartford Steam Boiler Inspection and Insurance Company Code Inspector.
The results of this review indicate that the ISI inspection requirements have been met satisfactorily.
In addition to the Inservice Inspection Report, a detailed data package has been assembled, which supports this examination.
This package is retained by Philadelphia Electric Company, and is available for review.
