Dear Mr. DeYoung:
In response to IE Bulletin No. 83-03 " Check Valve Failures in Raw Water Cooling Systems of Diesel Generators", we have determined that we do not have any check valves in the service water system leading to or exiting from the diesel generators.
Therefore this bulletin does not apply to Indian Point Unit No. 2.
This response is being provided pursuant to Section 182a of the Atomic Energy Act of 1954 as amended.
