Dear Mr. Keppler:
The referenced letters discussed resolution of an open item concerning multiplet analysis capability of our Automated Analytical Instrumentation System (AAIS) to which we committed to review our software system.
A review of the AAIS Software has been completed and improvements will consist of the following:
1.
The peak search algorithm used in measuring radioactivity will include resolution of multiplet peaks.
2.
_The calucations for error analysis will be included.
3.
The ability to subtract background radiation will be included.
4.
Where applicable, a determination of the lower limit of detectability will be included.
5.
The algorithms for classifying peaks will be modified.
6.
The algorithms for determining detector efficiency will be modified.
