McNamara TELEPHONE 1 (315)-524-4446 EXT. 301 at Ginna MONTH' December, 1983 The reactor power level was maintained at ~ 100% for the majority of the report period, with the following exceptions:
On 12/11 the reactor power level was reduced to ~ 46% to perform a series of turbine valve and trip tests.
On 12/19 the reactor power level was reduced to ~ 961 to perform a periodic _ test on the Auxiliary Feedwater System.
On 12/24 the reactor power level was reduced to ~ 85% for a short period of time to maintain less than-280F differential temperature between intake and' discharge due to electrical problems with circulating water discharge recirculating gate mctor.
When these problems were corrected the reactor power level was restored to 100% where it remained for the balance of the report period.
