OEPA Permit No. 3IB00016DD 9
Dear Mr. Magni,
[
In accordance with the Director's Final Findings and Orders, the following is a report of the monitoring and toxicity data obtained during the Perry Nuclear Power Plant's H-130 treatment, conducted pn September 12, 1991.
Grab samples of the effluent vere collected every two hours during the treatment from a point downstream of the detoxification site. Analysis of these samples demonstrated that the concentration of active H-130 discharged into Lake Erie was maintained at <0.02 mg/1.
/ composite sample of the effluent was collected during the H-130 treatment and used to conduct acute toxicity tests. Control samples were collected at both the intake and discharge prior to treatment. Mortality was not found to be at a statistically significant level for any test.
Test results are attached.
The use of CL-37 to reduce foam vas not required.
Please call Louise Barton (216) 259-3737 ext. 5512, if_you have questions or necd additional information.
