Gentlemen:
Millstone Nuclear Power Station, Unit No. 3 Supplement I to NUREG-0737 Requirements for Emergency Response Capability (Generic Letter No. 82-33)
In Reference (1), Northeast Nuclear Energy Company (NNECO) submitted an integrated implementation schedule regarding Supplement I to NUREG-0737. In addition, we indicated that we would inform the NRC Staff if this schedule required any modifications due to a change in our plans to perform a Control Room Design Review (CRDR) for Millstone Unit No. 3.
As such, a revised integrated implementation schedule is hereby submitted.)
The two (2) most significant changes in the attached schedule are: (1) the completion of task analysis approximately five (5) and one-half months later than originally scheduled to allow the task analysis to be performed based upon the initial draf t of the Emergency Operating Procedures (EOPs) in lieu of plant-specific Emergency Response Guidelines (ERGS), and (2) the completion of necessary emergency preparedness training approximately five (5) months earlier than originally scheduled. The first change causes the submittal of the CRDR Final Report to now be scheduled for November 1,1984, and represents a deviation from the approach identified in the CRDR Implementation Plan, which was submitted in Reference (2).
