- 1) Verification of the FCR/FCN Resolution Program Phase III (Register Reconciliation) for the architectural discipline.
- 2) Verification of the FCR/FCN Resolution Program Phase III for the civil discipline.
- 3) CIO evaluation of the retired document verification program for the civil discipline.

Details (Paragraphs below correspond to items above) i
- 1) The Phase III Register / Documents Verification Program for architectual documents (all stations) was initiated.
In the course of this effort, it was noted that there were variations in the use of symbols for re-l tired documents. NIR-011 was issued to document the above.
MPQAD was notified and CIO was requested to discontinue the architectural verifi-cation effort.
- 2) CIO was notified that the documents representing the first Civil disci-pline design package (Stations 8, 10, 13, 24 and 64) were available
~for Phase III verification. A sample plan was prepared for this pack-age and CIO verification was completed.
In performing the verification, CIO identified various discrepancies. These were documented on NIR-012.

In conjunction with item 2, above,CIO also evaluated, on a sample
basis, the implementation of the retired document program described lin FID 2.100 at Stations 8, 10,.13, 24 and 64. Discrepancies were-4 identified in the use of the retired document symbol to alert dccu-ment users that infomation has been removed from a document and placed in a file and that this infomation must be reviewed and used
'in conjunction with the principal document. These discrepancies were.also documented on NIR-012.
- 4) As a result of the activities described in 1, 2 and 3 above, CIO Item Number 043 was. issued. This item identifies several general concerns relative to Phase III document control and requests CPCo plans for resolution. Upon receipt CIO will first evaluate the plans _ and then detemine what further verification / evaluation measures will.be' constituted by CIO.
