Dear Sir:
This letter confirma a September 10, 1991 discussion between Joe Shea (NRC) and Tom Loomis (PEco) in which Mr. Shea informed Mr. Loomis that submittal of an implementation plan as required by 10 CFR 50, Appendix E, Section VI. (a) of the " Emergency Response Data System; Final Rule" dated August 13, 1991 (56 FR 40178) for Peach Bottom Atomic-Power Station (PBAPS), Unita 2 and 3 and Limerick Generating Station (LGS), Units 1 and 2 need not be submitted due to Philadelphia Electric company's voluntary commitment to participate in the Emergency Response Data System (ERDS) program. This voluntary commitment is contained in a December 20, 1989 letter fri,m D-R.
