V0GTLE ELECTRIC GENERATING PLANT INSERVICE INSPECTION PROGRAM REVISIONS By letter MSV-00318 dated September 13, 1990, Georgia Power Company submitted information to the NRC which identified the differences between tha Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP), Units 1 and 2 Inservice Inspection (ISI) Plans. The subject information was provided in response to a June 7,1990 verbal commitment and to assist the NRC and its contractor, EG&G-Idaho, in the review and approval process associated with the ISI Programs at VEGP.

The September 13, 1991 submittal identified nine ISI relief requests for VEGP-1 and 2 which required review and/or revision. The affected ISI relief requests included RR-1, RR-17, RR-21, RR-24, RR-26, RR-31, and RR-51 for VEGP-1 and RR-21 and RR-51 for VEGP-2. Section 1 of the enclosure to our September 13, 1991 submittal details necessary actions relative to the aforementioned relief requests. As a result, our submittal indicated that changes to the ISI Plan anJ/or Program documents incorporating any necessary changes would be made during a future revision of the affected document (s).

We have completed our revier ' the affected ISI relief requests and have determined that it is necess..y to revise ISI Program documents ISI-P-006 and ISI-P-014 for VEGP-1 and 2, respectively. Enclosed are Revision 5 to ISI-P-006 and Revision 4 to ISI-P-014. The revisions are being submitted

, for NRC review and approval in accordance with VEGP Technical Specification 4.0.5 concerning surveillance requirements. The enclosed documents supersede portions of the original ISI programs previously submitted to the NRC. A summary of changes for each of the revisions is also enclosed. Ten copies of this submittal are provided for your convenience.

l The NRC is requested to review and grant approval of the enclosed ISI l

program revisions in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55a (g) (6) (i). The subject changes do not affect public health and safety. Approval of the enclosed revisions of the VEGP-1 and 2 ISI programs is requested by January 1, 1992.
