Dear Mr. Denton:

Please be advised that Long Island Lighting Company will have completed the SQRT evaluation for approximately 90% of the equipment required to be seismically qualified by June 28, 1982. No later than June 16th, LILCO will submit its " Equip-ment Lists at Qualification Level", which summarize the seismic qualification status of specific components. In conjunction with this, LILCO will also submit information on several speci-fic components which should be sufficient to close NRC questions remaining from the initial SQRT audit.

Based on this status and these commitments, LILCO requests that the SQRT audit be conducted by the NRC during the week starting June 28, 1982.
