SUMMARY

OF OPERATIONS DECEMBER, 1983 During the month of December, there were no unit shutdowns or significant power reductions. On December 25, 1983, the IC steam generator atmospheric relief valve lifted. It is believed that this was caused by freezing in the associated instrumentation. The valve was placed in manual control and closed.

The fallowing safety-related maintenance was performed in the month of December:

1. Performed miscellaneous maintenance on die:el generators.

2. Repacked 1A service water pump.

3. Repacked #10 river water pump.

4. Overhauled #8 river water pump.

5. Performed scheduled PM on 1C diesel generatnr.
