Investigation of this condition has determined that the design must be revised to add one level transmitter per steam generator and to insulate the
. reference legs of all steam generator level transmitters. Bechtel has received revised setpoint band data from B&W and is incorporating this data, along with transmitter qualification data and installation requirements, into revised construction drawings. Replacement transmitters have been ordered.
Final design changes should be complete. in January 1984. Another letter, either interim or final, will be provided on or before January 27, 1984.
