Gentlemen:
By letter dated March 9, 1994 (Serial Number 2205) Toledo Edison (TE) submitted Relief Request RP-7 dealing with testing of the Component Cooling Vater (CCW) pumps at the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station (DBNPS).
In a letter dated October 7, 1994 (Log Number 4420), the NRC granted the requested relief subject to certain conditions described in the Safety Evaluation enclosed in their letter. The NRC also requested that TE inform them when the necessary changes to implement the relief were completed.
The purpose of this let;er is to provide the requested notification. The applicable test procedutes for the CCV pumps, as well as the applicable Inservice Testing Program documents, have been changed to fully implement the requested relief, subject to the conditions of NRC approval.
