ULNRC-680 DOCKET NUMBER 50-483 CALLAWAY PLANT, UNIT 1 OPERATING POSITIONS WHICH ARE REQUIRED TO BE LICENSED This letter serves to document a phone call between Mr. F. Anderson (NRC) and Mr. D. Shafer (UE) on October 6, 1983.
The Manager, Callaway Plant and the Assistant Manager, Operations and Maintenance will not hold licenses.
The personnel holding these positions meet the minimum qualifications of ANS 3.1-1978 and are certified as senior reactor operators.
Mr. Anderson and Mr.
R.
Benedict (NRC) agree this is acceptable.
Mr. Anderson.had previously requested that we indicate which positions within the Operating Organization (Technical
(
Specification 6.2-2) are licensed.
The Unit Reactor Operators are required to hold reactor operator licenses and the Operating l
- Supervisors are required to hold senior reactor operator licenses.
The position to which the Operating Supervisors report is the Assistant Superintendent Operations, who is also required to hold a senior reactor operator license.
