LR-N95027 United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission Document Control Desk Washington, DC 20555 INADEQUATE CONTROL ROOM STAFFING REMEDIATION PLAN HOPE CREEK DOCKET NO. 50-354 On February 3, 1995, representatives of Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G) met with NRC Region I personnel to discuss the investigation into an incident involving inadequate Control Room staffing at Hope Creek Generating Station and the remediation plan for the individuals that were involved in the incident.
Subsequent to the meeting, the NRC requested that PSE&G provide a written summary of the remediation status of the individuals involved in the incident.
We have completed our assessment of the effectiveness of the remediation and are confident that these individuals are ready to be returned to their normal duties.
As a result, the individuals are being returned to their normal duties effective February 6, 1995.
