Dear Mr. O'Reilly:

In our response to Inspection Report Nos. 50-259/83-14, -260/83-14,

-296/83-14 dated June 24, 1983, we indic3ted the present backlog of delinquent CARS /DRs would be eliminated by Auguat 1, 1983 In a recent telephons discussion between Jim Domer of my staff and Dave Verrelli of your staff, they discussed an extension of that schedule until September 1, 1983 Due to the workload during unit 1 outage this additional time is needed. If you have any questions, please call Jim Domer at FTS 858-2725.

Very truly yours, TENNESSCE VALLEY AUTHORITY L. M. Mills, Man ger
