Dear Mr. Seidle:
With regard to Item #6, " Final Acceptance Criteria", of the above-referenced letter, the following supplemental information is provided which addresses the means by which KG&E Quality Assurance has chosen to perform its final system walkdown surveillance verification program.
KG&E QA has taken the walkdown checklists, consisting of the " imp'>rtant quality characteristics" as determined by Bechtel and used by the KG&E Construction /DIC Walkdown Team, and supplemented these documents with I
additional attributes that have been determined by QA to represent past areas of concern. This supplementation process will occur when review-ing both hardware and documentation, as determined necan n f by "E Q*..
In this manner QA is and will continue to be free to review and inspect any activity involving safety-related system turnover at Wolf Creek.
