Enclosed is a copy of the cosigned Memorandum of Understanding between the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) concerning the intent to pursue collaborative activities in safety, reliability, and risk analysis methods and applications.
NASAs Office of Safety and Mission Assurance (OSMA) and the NRCs Office of Nuclear Regulatory Research (RES) have benefitted from our collaboration and exchange of ideas over the past twenty years and we look forward to continue working with NASA in the development of safety, reliability, and risk analysis methods, tools, data, and applications.
