Document Control Desk November 14, 1994 As stated in the reference letter the final WCAP report for the Model D-4 Steam Generator Tube Support Plate Limited Displacement Analyses includes additional information on the TRANFLO analyses. Additionally, analyses have been performed with the MULTIFLEX code to assess acoustic effects on the hydraulic tube support plate loads. These analyses demonstrate no influence of acoustic effects on the tube support plate loads.

Byron and Braidwood Station's believe that approval of this WCAP will resolve many industry issues regarding leak and burst limits. Additionally, resolution of these issues are critical to sustain continue operation without adverse economic impact until the steam generator are replaced. Therefore, Byron and Braidwood requests that the Staff actively pursue review and approval of this analysis.

Comed would welcome the opportunity to address any questions on this matter.
