Subject:

Containment Penetration Splice Repair Cooper Nuclear Station In accordance with the commitment made in Reference 1, this letter is written to inform you that splice repairs have been completed on all essential systems in Cooper Nuclear Station's drywell penetrations. The old tape and splices were removed and new splices, covered with environmentally-qualified heat shrink-able tubing, were installed to ensure system operability during normal, abnormal, and post-accident environments.

Quality Control and Quality Assurance measures were taken to ensure all work was performed properly and within applicable guidelines.

Upon completion, all effected circuits were tested and verified for proper system operation.
