Mr. James P. O'Reilly Gentlemen:
In our letter GN-247 dated August 2, 1983, Georgia Power Company forecast a completion date of September 23, 1983 to resolve the above reported concern.
At this time, Georgia Power Company is advising the completion date for this report will be rescheduled to October 14, 1983.
The date is being rescheduled because the engineer-ing evaluation is taking longer to complete than was originally forecast.
This letter does not contain any proprietary information and may be placed in the NRC Public Document Room upon receipt.
