The DAEC reduced power foi.nonthly Turbine Valve surveillance and Control Rod Drive exercises beginning Saturday, September 10 at i 1:00 p.m. and returned to full power the following Monday between 5:00 and 6:00 a.m.. Forgone electrical generation during the downpower was the equivalent of about five full-power hours of production. That was the only departure from continuous full-power operation during the month.
