Dear Mr. Eisenhut:
The reference letter contained a commitment to provide reports as required by NUREG-0619, "BWR Feedwater Nozzle and Control Rod Drive Line Nozzle Cracking" (November 13, 1980) to the Commission by September 30, 1983.
This letter transmits our report as required by (1) of NUREG-0619.
The report contains a paragraph 4.4.3.1 description of modifications and appropriate justification for implementation of NUREG-0619 with respect to the feedwater nozzles.
Please note that attached to the report is a copy of
" Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station, Units 2, NEDE-30224, Feedwater Nozzle Fracture Mechanics Analysis to Show Compliance with NUREG-0619".
This topical report is classified as Class III Proprietary by General Electric Company as indicated in the attached affidavit, and we request that the information contained in this report be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with the provisions of 10CFR 2.790.
