Byron Generating Station Units 1 and 2 Fuel Load Date NRC Docket Nos. 50-454 and 50-455
Dear Mr. Denton:
This is to inform you of a change to our schedule for initial fuel loading at Byron Unit 1.
Based on recent reviews of construction progress we are revising the target date for fuel load from December 1, 1983 to February 15, 1984.
Unanticipated additional work required to complete piping supports and to modify sections of ventilation ductwork has caused us to revise our schedule.
We are making every ef fort to accelerate the Byron 1 fuel load schedule but there are also contingencies which could cause i
further delay.
I will continue to keep you advised of changes in our schedules for these units.
