This le t ter is in response to your le t te r to Mr. E. J. Woo leve r,
dated August 10, 1983, reques t ing ad di t ional info rmat ion conce rning the submit tal of BVPS-2 's Quality Assurance Program description in accordance with 10CFR50.55(f) (Reference 3).
RESPONSE
Listed below is the BVPS-2 response to the four items of concern expressed in your letter of Aur,ust 10,1983 (Reference 2).
Item No. 1.
The int ent of ocr submittal dated June 10, 19 83, was to pr o-vide a currenti de sc rip t ion of the QA Program pr eviou sly approved with the BVPS-2 PS AR.
This was provided by submittal of a list of all changes made since the description was last approved, each of which. was cros s-referenced with the pr ev i-corres ponding number ously approved description by placing a
in the margin of the ap pr oved desc rip t ion.
Alt hough the QA Program description was not revised in the PSAR to incorpo ra te the ch ange s, the submittal did provide a ma rked-u p cur rent description which specifically identified each change.
Ad di-l t ional ly, e controlled copy of the DLC QA Program (which is always provided with the lates t revision) is at Region I and was pr ovided prio r to 10CFR50.5 5(f) req uir ement s.

It is our a revised de sc ript ion wil l belief that simply providing obscure the ch anges in the revised text.
Howeve r, per your r eq ue s t, BVPS-2 will provide a current QA Program description, incorporating the changes and submit it by January 31, 1984.
