In accordance with 10 CFR 50.54 (p) and 10 CFR 50.4, Georgia Power Company hereby submits three copies of Amendment 27 to the Vogtle Electric Generating Plant (VEGP)
Unit 1 and Unit 2 Physical Security and Contingency Plan (the Security Plan). By copy of this letter two copies of Amendment 27 are being provided to the NRC Region 11 omce.
This revision incorporates changes due to the security computer upgrade and recent managerial reporting changes in the security organization.
Enciosure i provides the description and justification for the changes, enclosure 2 gives insertion instructions, enclosure 3 contains Amendment 27 pages, and enclosure 4 is the new effective page list for the VEGP Physical Security and Contingency Plan. The information contained in enclosure 3 is safeguards information and should be withheld from public disclosure in accordance with 10 CFR 73.21.
