Gentlemen:

I am writing to request a change of wording in Technical Specification 3.1.1. The purpise of this request is to avoid possible regulatory questions regarding normal power fluctuations while l

in servo mode an( small changes in the displayed steady state power between thermal power calibrations. The current wording of the second sentence of the specification reads as follows:

"The normal steady state operating power limit of the r. actor shall be 1.0 megawatt."

We request to change the wording of the fore mentioned sentence tc Ss follows:

"The normal steady state operating power limit of the reactor should be 1.0 megawatt."
