" Required Actions Based on Generic Implications of Salem ATUS Events" Northern States Power Company requests an extension of time for responding to Section 2.2.2 of Generic Letter 83-28.
We are a member of a Nuclear Utility Tack Acticn Committee (NUTAC) formed on September 1, 1983 for the purpose of defining an appropriate vendor interface program. After completion of the NUTAC efforts, we will submit by February 29, 1984, a plan and schedule for developmert of the program.
In view of our continuing participation in the SEE-IN and NPRDS programs, we believe that this time extension will have no effect on public health and safety.
For the other requirements outlined in the generic letter we will submit by November 4,1983, status reporting together with plans and schedules for completion of the programs.
