Motor adequacy can be checked if reasonatile assumptionn are utilized but'true confirmation necessitates actual flow t..at data.

Previde the t hrust requirement used to evaluate the RCIC HOVs.
Resp _onse :
A thrust requirement of 29,000 lbs was used to evaluate the RCIC MOVs.
This figure is based upon a single INEL data point which showed a 10"
. William Powell flex wedge gate valve required 29,000 lbs to isolate
- blowdown flow at a differential pressure of 1040 psi.
Thase conditions are virtually identical to those postulated for GGNS where the maximum expected differential pressure is 1080 psid.
