PROPOSED AMENDMENT TO LICENSE R-33

1. Proposed Amendment The " Detector" column of items 5 and 6 of Table I, Technical Specification 6.0 should read: " Heter relay or channel trip circuit".

II. Safety Analysis The original picoammeters and Log N meter Installed at the NTR did not have internal low voltage trip circuits; and, as a result, it was necessary to add external meter relay trips. Replacement equipment, however, has built-in low voltage trip circuits. This amendment has no safety significance as it is inrnaterial whether the trip circuit is built in or external. In fact, the amendment will permit the installation of newer, more reliable equipment.
