Sirs:
Several years ago, I heard a scientist who was working on a nuclear project tell of the benefits of such a project.
Some years prior to that presentr. tion, I had sf gned a petition to keep nuclear wastes from t.ing du, sed in Enzie County,1.1 chine.n, whero ny hutband and I ounod ri operty and there we had spent our rumor vacations since carly 19501s-l building a ho:r.e for our family,. b'non I confronted the scientist with s
l facing the problem of disposing of harmful waste material, he was completely unaware and ur. concerned about the serious matter of which I.
spoke.

new St. Imeie No. 2 nuclear plant.
An instrt with our FPL's monthly electrio bill mentions data filed with the Flcrida Public Service Comission concernir.g rates for a new

i nuclear unit.
It speaks only of money values.
It completely ignores human life ard health values.
t I request that arg discussion involving rates include not
{ only dollars and cents value, but also include truth concerning the dangers of nuclear wasta disposal, the specific means and location of all wastes, proposed and real, an adequate eval.uation of. the aangers l
to humanity irwolved, and that this infon.ation be reported accurately to the American public. I request that all new nuclear projects be approved by a vote of the people who will te affected by its use, after they have ~been honestly and adequately informed of the dargers, as well as possible monitary benefits.
