JOSEPH M. FARLEY NUCLEAR PLANT UNIT 2 NARRATIVE

SUMMARY

OF OPERATIONS JULY, 1983 There was one power reduction in the :nonth of July.

The following safety-related maintenance was performed in the montn of July:

1.

Performed miscellaneous maintenance on diesel generators.

2.

Replaced air motor on fuel transfer system.

3.

Performed preventive maintenance on chargiug pumps 2A, 2B and 2C.

4.

Added packing to #7 river water pump.

5.

Performed safety-related maintenance on valve Q2G22V063A (Reactor Makeup Water isolation valve to 2A Waste Gas Compressor).

6.

Repaired 2B waste gas compressor unloader valve.
