" Unsatisfactory Stroking of EW Pump Turbine Steam Shut Off Valves" Second Interim Report
REFERENCE:
LP&L letter W3183-0178 dated May 20, 1983
Dear Mr. Collins:
The above referenced 1ctter indicated submittal of a Final Report to the USNRC on July 29, 1983.
Rework of the valves in accordance with the manufacturer's recommendations has been completed and we are presently selecting an independent laboratory to test the valves under service conditions. Completion of this testing and evaluation is anticipated in December, 1983.
l A Final Report will therefore be submitted to the USNRC by January 13, 1984.
