SUMMARY

OF MONTHLY OPERATING EXPERIENCE - JUNE, 1983 June 1 The station was in Operational Mode 1 with the reactor coolant through system at normal operating temperature and pressure. On the June 10 1st, reactor power was escalated following repair of the "C" Main Feedwater Regulating Valve [FCV-1FW-498], which was com-pleted on May 31.

Reactor power was taken to 95 percent at 0530 hours0.00613 days <br />0.147 hours <br />8.763227e-4 weeks <br />2.01665e-4 months <br /> and held steady. This power level was maintained until the 10th at 2115 hours0.0245 days <br />0.588 hours <br />0.0035 weeks <br />8.047575e-4 months <br /> when a load reduction was commenced to take the station off-line for refueling.

At 2324 hours0.0269 days <br />0.646 hours <br />0.00384 weeks <br />8.84282e-4 months <br />, the Main Unit Generator output breakers were opened, and the turbine was tripped at 2326 hours0.0269 days <br />0.646 hours <br />0.00385 weeks <br />8.85043e-4 months <br />.

Station remained in June 30 Mode 6 through June 30th.
