Waterford SES Unit No. 3 Docket No. 50-382 Significant Construction Deficiency No. 53 "Possible Failure of General Electric Type HFA Relays" Fifth Interim Report

REFERENCE:

LP&L letter W3I83-0212 dated June 15, 1983

Dear Mr. Collins:

The above referenced letter indicated submittal of a Final Report to the USNRC no later than July 26, 1983.

At the present time, the completion of corrective action is being delayed due to testing. We are presently awaiting an opportunity to install the remaining coils without impacting the startup testing schedule. This installation is expected to be complete in early September, 1983.

A Final Report will therefore be submitted to the USNRC by September 30, 1983.
