We welcome the opportunity to comment on the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) proposal to amend 10 CFR Part 54. We support the comments submitted by the Nuclear Energy Institute. More importantly, we support the efrorts by the NRC to add simplicity, stability and predictability to the license renewal process that was missing in the original rule. We consider the proposed amendments a clear, positive step.
