BASIS FOR SCHEDULE CHANGES FROM MAY 24, 1991 TO JUNE 7, 1991 CODE EXPLANATION OF CHANGE
- 1) There has been an 18 day delay in the completion date for the installation and check out of the criticality monitors in tank 8D-1.
The WVHS Radiation & Safety Committee has ,
, reviewed the need for these monitors and '
determined that they are not required in 8D-
- 1. A position paper is being prepared and will be presented to the STS SAR TRG for their review- and concurrence, regarding the elimination of these monitors.
- 2) There has been a 13 day delay in the start of the evaporator acid wash. This delay is due to resolving the issue associated with transferring the wash solution back to 8D-2.
In addition, the completion of this ef fort has also been delayed due to the additional time-required to issue the necessary reports to close out this activity.
