BASIS FOR SCHEDULE CHANGES FROM MAY 24, 1991 TO JUNE 7, 1991 CODE EXPLANATION OF CHANGE 1)
There has been an 18 day delay in the completion date for the installation and check out of the criticality monitors in tank 8D-1.
The WVHS Radiation & Safety Committee has reviewed the need for these monitors and determined that they are not required in 8D-
- 1. A position paper is being prepared and will be presented to the STS SAR TRG for their review-and concurrence, regarding the elimination of these monitors.
2)
There has been a 13 day delay in the start of the evaporator acid wash. This delay is due to resolving the issue associated with transferring the wash solution back to 8D-2.
In addition, the completion of this ef fort has also been delayed due to the additional time-required to issue the necessary reports to close out this activity.
