Reference:
ULNRC-3029 dated June 1, 1994 The referenced letter transmitted Relief Requests P, R,
S, and T to the Callaway Plant Inservice Inspection Program Plan.
Relief Request R-1 was submitted due to a permanent obstruction that limited the volume of the inspection to less than 90%.
Based upon discussions with the NRC Staff and after further consideration, Union Electric hereby withdraws Relief Request R-1 from consideration.
This examination will be attempted using alternate inspection techniques to obtain' greater coverage.
Relief Request R-1 will be resubmitted if the examination, augmented by the alternate techniques, fails to obtain 90% of the required volume.
