Dear Sir:
In accordance with 10CFR50.59(b), Boston Edison hereby submits a report contain-ing a brief description and safety evaluation for the changes, tests and experi-ments performed at Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station for the time period of July 1, 1982 thru January 21, 1983.
Submittal of this seven month report is in accordance with our letter of January 27, 1983 (BECo Letter #83-28) stating our intention of changing the reporting dates of the annual 10CFR50.59 report to be consistent with the FSAR Update submittal.
Consequently, all future annual submittals will be for tile years ending January 21 and will be filed at a maximum of six months later (July 22).
