Dear Dr. Weiss:

The purpose of this letter is to inform the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) of delays in submittal of two letters beyond the commitment dates previously established by PSC.

In Peference 1, PSC stated that the detailed cost estimate for Fort St.

Vrain (FSV) decommissioning would be submitted in May, 1991. This letter is now scheduled for submittal by June 17, 1991.

In the April 24, 1991 NRC Commissioners' briefing documented in Peference 2, Public Service Company of Colorado (PSC) personnel informed the Commissioners that PSC planned to submit the Deconnissioning Emergency Response Plan in May. This plan is now also scheduled for submittal by June 17, 1991.
