Dear Mr. Chairman:
I am writing with regard to the Subcommittee's inquiry into the NRC's review of the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station Emergency Plan.
I have been informed that NRC staff presentations to the Commission during the latter part of 1988 were based in part on information provided in documents submitted to the NRC by the Pilgrim licensee, the Boston Edison Company (BECO).
l We would appreciate your providing the Subcommittee any and all l
such documents including letters, memoranda, weekly reports, etc., which were submitted by BECO to the NRC during the period July through December 1988 and which contain information pertaining to the Pilgrim Power Station Emergency Plan.
Please provide these documents prior to Friday, May 3, 1991.
