LaSalle County Station, Unit 2 10 CFR 50.55(e) Notification 83-04 Final Report, Elcen Spring Hangers NRC Docket No. 50-374
Dear Mr. Keppler:
Commonwealth Edison notified your office on June 17, 1983 of a reportable deficiency in accordance with 10 CFR 50.55(e) concerning potentially defective figure 425, 426, and 428 spring hangers manufactured by Elcen Metal Products Co.
A review of unit two hangers at LaSalle revealed that we have one figure 428 Elcen spring hanger installed in Unit 2.
This spring hanger is a TYPE 2 SIZE 120 which is not one of the spring hangers in question.
Therefore, we believe this item can now be closed.
