Revision 0 to the Reauirements of ASME Section XI Attached is the ASME Code Section XI Inservice Inspection Examination Plan, Revision 0, for the third ten-year interval for Unit 2 of the Frairie Island Nuclear Generating Plant. Requests for relief, included in thic program, are being submitted for NRC review and approval in accordance wit.h 10 CFR Part 50, Section 50.55a.
The program has generally been developed to ASME Section XI,1989 Npion.
For det,.ils, see the Introduction (Pages 2-1 and 2-2) to the Plan. The 3rd Interval officially bagins December 21, 1994 but inspections will not be performed per the new plan until the reiueling outage scheduled to begin in May 1995. Request for Relief #1 is the only one requiring approval by May 1995 since we will not be performing inspections addressed by any of the other relief requests during 1995.
We will provide you with revisions to the Inservice Inspection Examination Plan for information when significant revisions have been incorporated (e.g.,
the addition of new components because of a significant modification to the plant).
Future Requests for Relief will be submitted as the need occurs.
