this letter submits the 1990 Annual Radiological
. V Environmental Monitoring Report No.

This report provides the information delineated.in TS Section 6.9.1.7, including ~a summary, of the Radiological. Environmental Monitoring Program (REMP).
In
. assessing the_ data. collected for the Radiological Environmental Monitoring Program we concluded.that'the operation of LGS had no adverse impact on the environment.
The data collected indicated trace concentrations of Cesium-137 in the~
sediment consistent with levels observed in preoperational years.
~
.ater sample points ' indicated-Samples obtained from surface w
differences in ~ Tritium activity' which ' may be attributable - to releases from LGS.
The - 1990 Radiological Environmental Monitoring Program tconfirmed that. the LGS ' environmental ef fects from - radioactive j
releases were well below - LGS Technical Specification.and 'other -
applicable regulatory limits.
