By letter dated June 10, 1983, you transmitted to The p
Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company (CG&E) a " Notice of Violation" t
for one item of alleged noncompliance cited in Inspection Report E
82-17.
The notice provided that pursuant to the provisions of l
10CFR2.201, C.&E should submit its response to your office within thirty days of the date of the notice.
Your letter also stated that consideration would be given to extending the response time for good cause shown.
The purpose of this letter is to request that the time for i
responding to the notice be extended forty-five days until August 24, 1983.
Because of the complex nature of the overall welder qualification issue, additional time is needed to evaluate the matters identified in the notice and complete the response.
E In order to ensure that our response properly deals with all E
aspects of the items identified, given the complex nature of the concern, the additional time is necessary to complete our response.
