Dear Mr. Felton:

Pursuant to the Freedom of Infonnation Act, 5 USC S552, as anended, and the provisions of 10 CFR Part 9, the undersigned hereby requests the following:

1. All information concerning PNO-III-83-27, concerning the Cleveland ,

Electric Illuminating Co.'s Perry Nuclear Power Plant, faulty valve radiographs. 'Ihis pertains to Issue #3 admitted into the Perry OL preceeding, Docket Nos. 50-440/441.

2. Information concerning PNO-III-83-26, on the use of lubricant on valve seats. Of particulat interest is the cause of FEIV leakage, the manufacturer of the MSIVs, the material of which the valve seats are fabricated, and the leax rate. 'Ihis information may be relevant to Issue #15 in the Perry proceeding, on steam erosion of valves and piping. ,
3. Infornution on the meeting held on April 19-20, 1983 in Columbus,OH re " Meeting with DOE on the DOE /NRC Programs Pelated to a Potential Geologic Pepository in Salt" as noticed in Enclosure P of the WIR for the week ending April 15,1983 (NMSS, Division of Waste Managetrent);

specifically, the names and affiliations of the participants, the exact location in Columbus where the meeting was held, the sponsors of the meeting, if other than DOE or NBC, and the subject matter of the nueting, especially any suggested or proposed locations for geologic repositories in salt.

4. Infornution concerning the Test Advisory Group and the proposed 2 x 4 loop facility to be built in Alliance, OH. See WIR for week ending April 1, 19,83. Specifically, the following information is requested:

6g V the make-up, sponsors, and nature of the Test Advisory Group; the nature of the 2 x 4 loop facility; the location in Alliance, OH

[ where it is to be built; the expected date of construction and c:uration for the 2 x 4 loop facility.

In accordance with the Omnission's policy as related in your response to my earlier request (EDIA-81-516), I hereby request that 75% of the fees for the search and production of the docurents responsive to items 1 and 2 above be waived. I agree to accept the remaining charges.
