Dear Dr. 'itomas:
It is respectfully requested that an additional 30-day extension to October 15 be granted to submit the amendments to the UFTR Emergency Plan.
As discussed with our Project Manager, Harold Bernard on September 14, the rewriting of the UFTR F.mergency Plan has proven more time consuming than originally expected. We should have no problem in complying with your request for an amended UFTR Emergency Plan by October 15, 1983.
We hope this request can again be given favorable consideration.
