South Texas Project Units 1 & 2 Docket Nos. STN 50-498, STN 50-4S9 Schedule for Resolution of TMI Item II.K.3.5 On February 22, 1983, Houston Lighting & Power Company (HL&P) received a letter from your office dated February 8,1983, in which HL&P was requestea to submit a schedule and plans for resolving TMI Action Item II.K.3.5,

" Automatic Trip of Reactor Coolant Pumps". HL&P's plan for demonstrating compliance with the criteria stated in the attachment to that letter will be provided in two submittals.

The first submittal will address all items except Item I.2, and is scheduled for December 8, 1983.

Item I.2 will be addressed by May 15, 1984.
