Reference 1 transmitted an amendment application to revise Technical Specification 3/4.8.1 and its associated Bases to achieve an overall improvement in emergency diesel generator reliability and availability.
These proposed changes are consistent, in part, with recent NRC guidance concerning emergency diesel generator surveillance requirements.
The purpose of this transmittal is to submit additional information that was inadvertently omitted from the original submittal.
Insert 10, item #6 of the marked up proposed changes should have had the ** as a reference to the footnotes and the same ** should have been on the retyped Technical Specification 4.8.1.1.2c.6.
See the attached sheets for the corrected marked up page and retyped page.
The conclusions in the Safety Evaluation concerning the addition of this footnote to the other surveillances are also applicable to this change.
