Dear Mr. Keppler:
Reference (a) indicated that certain activities appeared to be in noncompliance with NRC requirements.
Reference (b) provided the Commonwealth Edison Company (CECO) response to Reference (a).
The purpose of this letter is to revise and provide the updated status of Reference (b).
In the section Corrective Action Taken to Avoid Recurrence, it was stated Sargent & Lundy Engineers would develop by June 15, 1983 a drawing similar to IE-0-3333 for internal panel wiring.
Additionally, it was stated that the H. P. Foley Company procedure addendums would be re-reviewed against the revised drawings and necessary procedural adjustments made and training conducted.
The above corrective actions will not be completed prior to June 15, 1983.
Commonwealth Edison Company Project Engineering and Project Construction Departments wish to meet with Messrs. R. R. Naidu and I.
Ahlmed during the week of June 20, 1983 to discuss the IE report issues and corrective actions.
Our Project Engineering Department has information which may indicate that the Item of Noncompliance may not be a violation.
Mr. I. Ahlmed was contacted by the LaSalle County Site Project Construction Superintendent on June 9, 1983 regarding this possibility and requested the meeting.
